2025 - A YEAR TO REMEMBER

2025 - A wonderful year

Welcome to our final blog of 2025 - A year that really solidified our little cafe as something with potential to be a global brand. Pretty crazy to consider the physical size of our space and the reach / community we have been able to foster. Super grateful to anyone who has supported us through merch, joining us for runs, co hosting to the simple act of coming by for a coffee. THANK YOU.

Let’s go through some highlights month to month as a bit of a review and we will have a little section of what to look forward to in the year to come. Enjoy.

January-

We were able to gather the trust of Adidas and support a crew of misfits to run the first edition of Relay Of The Gods. None of the boys had ever run over a half marathon. We were able to run through 15 hours of non stop rain to end up in 4th place out of 7 teams. The results inspired some of the boys to continue their respective running journeys and go on to run ultra marathons, trail races and brought the local community together in ways that we couldn’t have imagined. That was special.

February-

This is the month we started getting weird with the LSD runs. We took inspiration from the Hash runs and started to lay paper trails the evening before the run. We really wanted to encourage exploration, actually slowing down and introducing our community to the lesser known parts of the surrounding areas.  This lead to scaling walls, jumping rivers, getting our shoes dirty and im sure a few falls along the way. While the effort it took to make these runs possible was exponential the value of having people come back and say “that was the best run I’ve ever been on” made it all worth while.

March-

We did some renovations and installed the outdoor gym as a way to encourage all the runners to work on their upper bodies a little bit. While it took time to gain momentum it’s so nice to see people using the space to better themselves on a daily basis. This was also the month where we took our shoes off and hosted Balap Lari vol. 1 - We saw the barefoot races during rhamadan going viral and acted fast to host our own version at Flowerboy. Getting Adidas on board to sponsor the a race without shoes took some convincing but the turn out and energy at 3 am was something memorable. Look forward to doing it again in 2026.

April-

April saw a lot of people training for BTR, more LSD shenanigans and and Earth Day clean up with our mates from Sungai Watch. Another couple shoots with Adidas gave us a nice platform to show what running means to our community.

May-

What a special month this was. We had over 50 members join the BTR event at Mt. Batur. The support was electric. Seeing so many people do their first trail races was incredible to witness. Running up there has such a balance of beauty and grit. It’s a really special place to run and was made so much better having people cheering us on when we all finished. Highly suggest signing up and being part of that next year.

June -

We hosted Global Running day with ON and had the support of Rise&Run alongside Continuum to help people reach their personal best in the 5 km distance. One of our favorite days of the year. Another adventurous LSD and some members got to host their own Hash run which was a blog post in itself.  We even did the world’s greatest sock review!

July -

We continued our partnership with Adidas and got to film a super well received commercial for the Boston 13 launch. Running at the track in Tabanan was a nice memory. We collected trail shoes for the porters in Rinjani and some women in the surrounding area to encourage them to spend more time on the trails.

August -

LSD BANDUNG! - we got to share the energy of these runs and bring Flowerboy to Bandung. The response was next level. We had over 1000 people sign up and almost half of that showed up in full force to run together. This gave us so much love for the Indonesian Community and to see so many people supporting us with merch sales and just showing up with so much enthusiasm was something we will never forget. Thank you Bandung!

Having a cheer squad at Maybank Marathon with ON was a great experience aswel. To witness that energy and how special a marathon is for so many different walks of life gave us a real push to want to be more involved in supporting our community in these endeavours aswel.

September -

We hosted TraiLSD up at our favorite place -  Mt. Batur. To share the experience of running on lava and through the difficult terrain outside of a race with such an incredible group was really special. The catering set up was next level and we cant wait to do another one up there next year.

October -

Another huge month to show that our community really does show up. We hosted another LSD that brought over 200 people together to run around and drink coffee. We had our community member Jillian stand atop the podium at a race in Sumatra which was a beautiful thing. To have so many community members watching her live tracker and cheering her on was what this is all about.

November -

Jakarta LSD was the highlight of this month. Another huge turn out and unmatched energy outside of our usual stomping grounds. The support we had within the event and outside from our community there was outstanding. So grateful to be so accepted and supported by the local scene.
Thanks to the crew at Baked, Kit, Running Rage and Angga for all the love.

December -

We announced our first running retreat in Japan for next year. The response was unreal. We sold out in a week and are so excited to have the global support from amazing brands and all the incredible guests we have had over the past few years. It’s really special to end the year knowing we can be part of people achieving things they never imagined and to have such an incredible community to supports our ideas is so motivating to keep showing up and coming up with new ways to bring everyone together.

2026 will bring us to Japan! How crazy is that. We will run volcanos, take our shoes off and run at 3 in the morning to support all our friends fasting during Rhamadan. I’m sure some of us will fall into a river or roll an ankle in the rice field. More LSD runs with SATISFY and so many more reasons to show up and move together.

Until next time, enjoy the celebrations and hope we can run together soon!

BIG LOVE
