DAY 1 – ARRIVAL
Arrival by train from Tokyo. Private transfer to AIR Myoko.
Unhurried check-in, time to settle, and a considered welcome dinner.
Orientation and quiet evening.
DAY 2 – TRAILS & RECOVERY
Morning guided trail run through the surrounding mountains.
Shared breakfast, followed by mobility and recovery.
Cultural excursion in the afternoon.
Evening meal and onsen.
DAY 3 – PREPARATION
Easy morning run, finishing at Tsubame Onsen.
Lunch out.
Race preparation and a relaxed, early evening.
DAY 4 – RACE DAY
Rockin’ Bear Trail Race (7 km / 18 km / 49 km).
Afternoon recovery and shared celebration.
The schedule may shift slightly in response to weather, group energy, or local conditions.

Running Retreat Terms and Conditions – Myoko Japan
By purchasing the deposit product through the Flowerboy™ website and completing checkout, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
This retreat involves outdoor and alpine activities that carry inherent risks, including the risk of serious injury or death. The retreat takes place in forested and alpine environments in the Myoko region of Japan, which are known to be natural habitat for wildlife, including Asiatic black bears.
While wildlife encounters are uncommon, incidents have occurred in the region and surrounding mountainous areas. Participation in the retreat involves exposure to wilderness conditions where wildlife encounters, including potentially dangerous encounters, may occur.
By booking and participating in the retreat, you acknowledge and accept the risk of wildlife encounters, including bear encounters, which may result in serious injury or death. You understand that Flowerboy™ cannot eliminate these risks and does not guarantee a wildlife free environment.
1. Organiser
This retreat is organised and operated by Flowerboy™. All retreat packages are sold as experience based services and not as physical goods. Flowerboy™ is responsible for the delivery and administration of the retreat.
2. Deposit Booking and Payment
The product purchased at checkout represents a deposit payment to secure a place on the retreat. Your booking is confirmed only once the deposit payment has been successfully processed. Deposit payments are non refundable under all circumstances.
3. Remaining Balance
The remaining balance of the retreat package must be paid in full within 90 days of the deposit purchase date, unless otherwise agreed in writing by Flowerboy™. Failure to pay the remaining balance within this timeframe may result in cancellation of your booking and forfeiture of the deposit.
4. Refunds and Cancellations
All retreat payments, including deposits and balance payments, are non refundable. No refunds will be issued for cancellation due to illness, injury, death, travel disruption, personal circumstances, or change of plans. Booking transfers may be approved at the sole discretion of Flowerboy™. No refunds or credits are provided for late arrival, early departure, or missed activities.
5. Nature of the Retreat
The retreat involves physically demanding activities including trail running, hiking, mobility work, and outdoor sessions in alpine and wilderness environments. Activities may take place in remote locations, varying weather conditions, uneven terrain, snow, ice, and limited access to immediate medical assistance. Participation is voluntary and at your own pace.
6. Health and Fitness Declaration
By booking, you confirm that you are physically and medically fit to participate in the retreat activities. You have not been advised against participation by a medical professional. You accept full responsibility for assessing your own fitness level and limitations and agree to disclose any relevant medical conditions, injuries, or allergies if requested.
7. Assumption of Risk
You acknowledge and understand that participation involves inherent risks including but not limited to serious injury, permanent disability, illness, wildlife encounters including bear encounters, accidents, environmental hazards, and death. You voluntarily and knowingly assume all such risks, whether known or unknown, foreseeable or unforeseeable.
8. Liability Waiver and Release
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release, waive, and discharge Flowerboy™, its owners, partners, directors, employees, contractors, guides, and representatives from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to participation in the retreat, including but not limited to personal injury, illness, property damage, financial loss, or death, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
9. Travel and Insurance
Participants are solely responsible for arranging their own travel to and from Myoko, Japan. Participants are strongly advised and expected to obtain comprehensive travel insurance that includes medical treatment, emergency evacuation, search and rescue, wildlife encounters, and participation in endurance and outdoor sports. Failure to obtain adequate insurance is at the participant’s own risk.
10. Accommodation and Conduct
Accommodation may be shared unless otherwise stated on the retreat product page. Participants must behave respectfully toward other guests, staff, guides, and property at all times. Flowerboy™ reserves the right to remove any participant whose behaviour is unsafe, reckless, or inappropriate, without refund.
11. Schedule and Changes
The retreat schedule, routes, guides, and activities may change due to weather, safety considerations, wildlife activity, or unforeseen circumstances. Changes made in the interest of safety or experience quality do not entitle participants to refunds or credits.
12. Photography and Media
Participants consent to photography and video recording during the retreat. These materials may be used for marketing, social media, and promotional purposes by Flowerboy™ unless written notice is provided prior to the retreat.
13. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws applicable to the organiser.
